Workshop on Arab Political Development

The Workshop on Arab Political Development operates as an intellectual hub committed to an inclusive analysis of the political obstacles and opportunities facing the contemporary Arab world. The workshop supports learning and constructive engagement through graduate seminars, public lectures, conferences, and other events.

Public Lectures

The workshop sponsors several regional expert talks each semester that are open to the public. Working with the broader university community, WAPD also sponsors and cosponsors events on campus linked to the politics of the contemporary Arab world.

Graduate Student Seminars

The graduate student seminars are restricted to Princeton students on an invitation only basis and are designed to allow for analytical conversations on the politics of the contemporary Arab world with a special focus on providing an interdisciplinary outlet to present research projects.
