The Bobst-AUB Collaborative Initiative is pleased to announce a “Call for Research Collaborations” between faculty members at the American University of Beirut and Princeton University. Applicants are strongly advised to work in a team of two to four faculty and submit a research proposal focusing on the following two themes: 1) Assessment of policy responses to COVID-19 in the Middle East and North Africa or 2) An analysis of the political, religious and socio-economic implications of COVID-19 in the region. Research grants are up to $20,000.
Kindly send a short proposal (1-2 pages) and the anticipated itemized budget.
Proposal Due Date: November 15, 2020.
Lead PIs should be faculty members of professorial rank at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at AUB or full-time faculty members at Princeton (or both). Part-time and non-professorial instructors at AUB can be members of the research teams. Priority will be given to teams that are composed of faculty from both Princeton and AUB. We will be available to help match up teams if this is needed.
