Sharan Grewal: World Politics and Statecraft Fellowship & NSF Grant Nominee

The Bobst Center congratulates Sharan Grewal for being recognized for his work by two prominent political science programs.

Grewal has been selected as a winner in the 2018 “World Politics and Statecraft Fellowship” competition. The Smith Richardson Foundation sponsors an annual “World Politics and Statecraft Fellowship” program, its annual grant competition to support Ph.D. dissertation research on American foreign policy, international relations, international security, strategic studies, area studies, and diplomatic and military history.

The Political Science Program at the National Science Foundation (NSF) has recommended that the NSF offer Grewal a grant for his dissertation research “Doctoral Dissertation Research: Coup-Proofing: Egypt and Tunisia in Comparative Perspective”.

Congratulations Sharan!

Grewal is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Politics at Princeton University. During AY 2018-2019, he will be a post-doctoral fellow at the Brookings Institution. He will then join the Government Department at the College of William & Mary as an Assistant Professor in August 2019.
