Mendelberg and Karpowitz win best book award for The Silent Sex

Princeton University Department of Politics Professor Tali Mendelberg’s book The Silent Sex, coauthored  with former graduate student Chris Karpowitz, currently an Associate Professor at Brigham Young University Department of Politics, won the best book award from the Experimental Political Science section and from the Political Psychology section of APSA. In July it won the Sears best book award of the International Society of Political Psychology.

Chris also won the Emerging Scholar Award of the Elections, Public Opinion and Voting section, awarded to the top scholar in the field who is within 10 years of her or his PhD, and in July he won the Erikson Early Career Award of the International Society of Political Psychology.
