Interfaith and intercultural vigil in response to recent attacks on humanity – Princeton Art Museum Plaza

Nov. 16, 2015

All members of the Princeton University student body are welcome to join “Tossed by the Waves, But Never Sinks: Vigil in Response to Recent Attacks on Humanity” on Wednesday, November 18 at 6:00PM on the Princeton University Art Museum plaza.

Organized by undergraduates, this candlelight vigil is a campus-wide intercultural and interfaith event, in response to the horrific attacks against humanity we have witnessed this year. It will be a time to gather as a campus and pray for the lives lost in the attacks in France, Iraq, Kenya, Lebanon, Somalia, Turkey, and beyond.

We see these attacks as crimes against humanity. As a university community, we stand together to let each other know that we are there for each other. We stand together in prayer and solidarity, acknowledging that the universal force of good is greater than the forces of evil.
